Sadiq sanusi Adamu Ankara Yildrim Beyazit university (AYBU), founded in 2010, is a distinguished state higher education institution in Ankara, Turkey that prides itself on its strong international perspective, high quality research-based education and diversity.   So far, my university experiences have been incredible. I've learnt and experienced so much in such a little amount of time, and it's all gone by so quickly. I'm still learning about all of the possibilities that university has to offer. I've made numerous new pals from various regions of the globe and many new friends from different cultures. Our school has a large number of international pupils, which has given me insight into various cultures. I can remember the last time when our school organised an international students day. We saw many different cultures, which is another opportunity for us.

My University Experience

Maha Elsayed   My University Experience   As I was set to start this new chapter in my life, I was overcome with a multitude of contradictory feelings as I moved my bags with the help of my parents. As soon as I came into my apartment, I was met with a warm embrace by my neighbours, which calmed all of my anxieties and unanswered questions about my new home.   That year has been a once-in-a-lifetime trip for me. I expected all of the freedom and independence to have a bad impact on me and my maturity level, but it had the opposite effect. I was forced to step outside of my comfort zone because I was alone in an unfamiliar place. Not only did I have to learn to rely on people I didn't know well, but I also had to learn the value of independence and making my own decisions without the help of others. While this adaptation did not come naturally to me at first, it did take some time and effort. On occasion, all I wanted to do was return home and see my family and old friend...

My life experience at AYBU

Suheyb     My life experience at AYBU   My university experiences thus far have been amazing. I have learned and experienced so many new things in such a short period of time, and it has gone by so fast. I am still discovering all the opportunities that university offers me. AYBU is a very welcoming place, and from the first day, I felt at home here. I have made many new friends from many different backgrounds. My classes are great and I enjoy every one of them, especially Programming classes. I am also taking introductory Turkish, which I greatly enjoy. Learning a new language is challenging but it is very rewarding. The course load is intense, so time management is key.   As for extracurricular activities, I am part of football team. We play football in every week and it’s so enjoyable, another thing a really enjoy on campus is riding the bicycles. Also Another thing a really enjoy on campus is going to the gym; I try to go at least three times ...

Our University

Saifee Rahman Saif                                                             Our University Some people find university life and studies stressful, and some people really enjoy their time there. Our university study allows a lot of independence, particularly at higher levels of study, that suits some people more than others. It is important to get good advice on how you structure your course so that all your courses can contribute to your qualification, and so that you can get into the courses you wish to do. At our university , the first year can be like being in your final year at school (be that college, sixth form or whatever it's called depending on where you are) except, most of the time, instead of living with your parents you may live in a dormitory with other students or in shared student accommodation. Students that...
